Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Mida is a scientist and builder who believes women's health care should keep pace with women's lives: ongoing and grounded in evidence. At SPHERE HEALTH, she created the platform and leads the company's strategy, operations and brand.

She has spent over a decade building healthcare companies and products, from genomics and clinical diagnostics to an ONC-certified electronic health record with integrated AI and machine learning. A published researcher and inventor, she holds a PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Oakland University and an Executive MBA from INSEAD, with postdoctoral training at the University of Michigan.

Oren Mechanic

MD, MPH

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Mechanic is a physician who believes technology should bring patients the right care, at the right time, in the right place. At SPHERE HEALTH, he leads clinical strategy, partnering with OB-GYN physicians to bring high-quality, safe and evidence-based care to women.

He is the former Chief Medical Officer of eMed and Director of Telehealth at Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he completed his training. He holds an MD from the University of North Carolina and an MPH from The Dartmouth Institute, with further training in nutrition. He practices medicine in Miami, Florida.
