Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about SPHERE HEALTH, our services, and how we protect your privacy.

How does SPHERE HEALTH work?
SPHERE HEALTH is a virtual, cash-pay platform that connects you with a specialist physician focused on your area of concern. You complete a clinical assessment, complete the recommended lab work, and a physician provides you with a plan tailored to you, with ongoing follow-up on your plan's cadence.
Who provides my care?
Your care is delivered by board-certified OB-GYN and obesity medicine physicians who specialize in women's health and metabolic care. SPHERE HEALTH does not rely on nurse practitioners or physician assistants for clinical care.
Is everything done online?
Most of your care happens online, on your schedule. Any lab work is handled through a network of local draw sites, with at-home collection available on eligible plans.
Am I eligible to use SPHERE HEALTH?
SPHERE HEALTH serves adult women 18 and older. Some programs have additional requirements; for example, endometriosis needs an existing diagnosis before you enroll.
Where is SPHERE HEALTH available?
SPHERE HEALTH is available to patients in 48 states and the District of Columbia, everywhere in the U.S. except Rhode Island and Hawaii. SPHERE HEALTH is not available to patients outside of the United States.
What happens if I move to a different state?
Tell your care team if you move and your program will continue in your new state and adjust your care if anything needs to change.
Can I use SPHERE HEALTH while traveling in another state?
Your care is based on the state you are physically located in at the time of your visit. If you are temporarily somewhere else, let us know so we can confirm what we are able to provide while you are there.
Is care available outside the United States?
No. SPHERE HEALTH serves patients located in the United States. We are not currently providing care to patients outside the United States.
Is my health information private?
Protecting your health information is a priority, including sensitive reproductive and hormonal health data. See our Privacy Notice for the full details of how your information is handled.
How is my reproductive and hormonal health data protected?
We treat reproductive and hormonal health information as especially sensitive. Our Privacy Notice explains what we collect, how it is used, the choices you have, and the protections that apply to your data.
What if I have a medical emergency?
SPHERE HEALTH is not for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For urgent but non-emergency concerns, contact a local provider.
